Role-Playing Rules

All the original site rules still apply - these are just in addition to them, and they don't apply to other posts outside of roleplaying.

1) Try and read a lot of the posts before you, so you can reply to it, and if you've skipped a lot of pages, please try to read them. It doesn't hurt you, and many others are thankful for your in-character post.
2) Make sure that either your characters are listed in your signature, or that you have a link to your characters' page so we know where to access them.
3) Make sure that you can roleplay all your characters, and don't go over 50. I know, it seems a big number, but you never know...
4) No powerplaying or god-modding at all during roleplay. Powerplaying means controlling another persons character, and god-modding is when your character is all powerful and indestructible.
5) When making a character bio, please put all of yours in a single thread and do not post them in other people's threads. You can comment on other people's characters, though.
6) No playing as animals, angels, land lubbers, etc. during this roleplay. This is a seas roleplay, and while you can lope around and barter on land, please remain usually on the sea.
7) No making a plot or mini plot without the admin - has to be the admin, can't just be a member of the staff - approval.
8) Only two high positions - one captain, and one first or second mate. Doctor, quartermaster, etc, also count.
